What is the impact of fair trade in countries of production? What specific factors promote optimal effectiveness? The fair trade foundation Max Havelaar seeks to answer these questions at an event at the University of Bern on 6 September, 2012. Participants include CDE researcher Udo Höggel, who has experience in practical assessments in the effectiveness of fair trade schemes.
