Democratic participation is a crucial precondition for combatting hunger sustainably. In a panel discussion on Wednesday, 20 November 2013, right-to-food pioneer Frances Moore Lappé and Jean Feyder, former ambassador and permanent representative of Luxembourg to the UN and WTO, will discuss ways of finding and implementing sustainable solutions to hunger together with representatives of Swiss farmers, consumers, scientists, and the general public.
