GESA 2015: Call for applications

GESA call

We are now inviting applications from candidates in the arts and humanities, natural and social sciences, as well as in advocacy, law, the media, or policy, whose work focuses on relationships between the environment and society. To participate, you should be fluent in English. The academy convenors will select 18–21 participants from around the world who have the capacity to become environmental leaders and impact academia, civil society, the private sector, or government.

The cost of participating in the Academy is 2000 euros. This includes accommodation, tuition, field trips, insurance, and materials, but does not cover local and international travel, meals, and other living costs. Participants are expected to secure funding to cover all expenses independently, through academic scholarships, crowdsourcing, personal sources, employer support, government grants, or travel awards.

Further information about the curriculum, costs, and registration is available on the GESA website.
